The name marabout is so common that one can not know exactly to which category it corresponds, going from the most honorable to the magician:
-The Savant is called marabout
-The Saint is called marabout

-The head of confraternity and spiritual guide is marabout
-Imam of the mosque is marabout
-The koranic master is marabout
-The healer working with the Holy Quran is marabout
-The herbalist healer is marabout
-The magician wears the marabout label
-The charlatan is called marabout

Profiles and operating modes of magicians-marabouts:
1. They are called "Piooru" or "Tapeurs" by the Pulaar, equivalent of crocodiles
2. They present themselves as marabouts while waiting for their prey, their victims, who are rather paradoxically high executives, accountants of companies, managers, great traders, great businessmen and politicians eager for rapid gain.
3. Some of them tattoo their foreheads to have the appearance of men of Faith and great believers
4. They are very correct in their accoutrements of rich bazin with rosary long sometimes small or in suits and shirts well ties, according to the places and countries
5. They settle and lodge for their operations in sumptuous villas and hotels of lux to respect the rules of the appearence, surrounded by big suitcases of lux, the message being clear that they do not work for the poor and always ready to take the powder of escort, after having committed their crimes.
6-They are very mobile without fixed address
7. They are organized in gangs of criminals with promoters charged with promoting them and disappear as soon as they commit their crimes
8. They work with the devil and capture the attention of their prey with magical visions of suitcases filled with "money" or other very surprising and awakening acts called by some "kabaku"
9. They promise their victims luggage or bags of money by multiplying by 5 or 10 of the very important amounts they must bring.
10. They hand them these bags with "money"to open only after a certain time, the time for them to be away. Obviously the victim ends up with a bag full of paper or envelops with sand.
11. Their victims always end up either in prison or leave the city or the country to escape discredit, otherwise they find themselves in a socio-economic debacle from which it is very difficult for them to recover.

Despite the misadventures that have been experienced by all, there are always people who let themselves be trained, although they have already learned those of others.

Please, share this posting with your friends to warn them against these illusion merchants.

As for the charlatans, it is those who pretend to hold the knowledge they do not have. They are in all professions, From the non-diploma to the one who trafficked a diploma others to obtain a title in the society
